Pearls by the Lake Scholarship
The Pearls by the Lake Foundation is honored to support the next generation of leaders by awarding scholarships to outstanding graduating high school seniors in Kaufman and Rockwall Counties and surrounding communities. We seek students who exemplify academic excellence, meaningful community service, and a strong commitment to higher education through acceptance to an accredited two- or four-year college or university.

Demekia Carter Merritt Scholarship
The Pearls by the Lake Foundation, in partnership with the family of Demekia Carter Merritt, awards a $500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior in Kaufman or Rockwall Counties and surrounding areas who demonstrates academic achievement and plans to major in Business, Accounting, or Criminal Justice at an accredited two- or four-year college or university.
