On this special day, we remember the trailblazing vision of the Original Nine Founders of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. These nine Howard University students created a sisterhood representing the true meaning of “Service to All Mankind.”  117 years later, Alpha Kappa Alpha is proud of more than 360,000 members around the world.
